The Qi Pao (or cheongsam) is a combination of Oriental tradition that is both classy and elegant, retaining its feminine charms that have lasted till today.

To celebrate Lunar New Year on 28-29 January 2017, we are launching a new, exclusive collection with a re-interpretation of the Qi Pao by using silks, silk organzas and other beautiful fabrics.  Colors are vivid and rich while the prints are culled from Chinese-inspired motifs to re-worked florals, giving the Qi Pao a totally urban and fashion forward look.

Below are some highlight of the cheongsam from the collection.

Dendrobium in Space

The Dendrobium Stefanie Sun is the inspiration behind this cheongsam.

Using a giant red dot do represent Singapore, the dendrobium is used on a graphic inspired look for a totally hip and futuristic expression of the flower.

This is to underline that our Orchid can and does look modern.

A Rose amongst the Roses

The second time the dendrobium is used is in a play of our different national flower. This second cheongsam also in pure silk is called the Rose among the Roses.

Against a black background, the many Orchids stand out in dark relief & again the dendrobium is highlighted in white with its signature yellow in its center.

Bashemath Cheong Sam

A black cheongsam has purple and fushia pops of color – a preview of Sping Summer 2017 as these 2 hues are going to be hot.

The graphic prints are fluid and eye catchy, yet feminine.

Another exclusive floral theme. This time small florals are used to soften a bias checked theme for this pure silk cheongsam. The unique detail is the solid colored part that forms a ‘bolero’ on the front.

Baudelaire Cheong Sam

A traditional cheongsam given a brand new direction. The red section features traditional print that is blown up and just on one side, a turquoise print is used to give it an unexpected twist.

Basilissa Cheong Sam

Fresh Springs of Orchid bloom across this silk cheongsam and is accented by bright blue trims to give this dress a pop of color. The feel is fresh & welcoming of Spring.

Mystic of the Orient will be launched by December 2016 and prices range from S$289-S$389.
